Me and my brothers used to try and do this dance with our plastic guitars when we were little. The Shadows were dead cool back then. They didn’t sing any lyrics and had a distinctive tinny sound to their guitar leads. Here’s a video of them performing in 1961.
The Shadows actually did a Final Tour as recently as 2004 -the old masters still sharp as anything.
