The Getalong Gang
The Getalong Gang is a fine exemplar of everything that a cartoon should be: informative, fun and featuring a moose AND a caboose.
2 words you don’t often hear in the same sentence these days, more’s the pity, are ‘moose’ and ‘caboose’. A caboose is of course the single train cart club house that the getalong gang used to ride about in to get to their next set of hi-jinx, while the moose was the irrepressible pack leader, Mr Montgomery Moose. Montgomery was a fine upstanding chap, and an all-American Moose who would keep the Getalong Gang good and safe from that A-Hole of an alligator who always wanted to come and ruin everyones fun.
Anyway, enough needless reminiscing, you just want to hear that BRILLIANT theme tune again don’t you, well here it is, I bet you’ll play it twice.
The 80s were great for one reason, and one reason only: The Getalong Gang.
