The Demon Headmaster
A very budget after-school drama to fill in a BBC slot. The best bits were when the Demon Headmaster tried to hypnotise people with his green swirly eyes.
He eventually got busted and much later I met one of the child stars from the series. She is now studying dentistry but looked much the same as when she was in the series. The Demon Headmaster himself was played by Terence Hardiman.
At the time, everyone at school rather maliciously accused the teachers of trying to brainwash the pupils for evil experiments. It fitted our purposes to claim to be defenders of freedom rather than unco-operative little brats.
