For those who don’t know, a sable is a fur product made from small marten-like creatures in Russia with highly valued pelts. Eartha Kitt also played Catwoman in the 1960′s Batman series. She was called “the most exciting woman in the world” by Orson Welles. She performed abroad a lot after making anti-war comments at a White House function and thus making the First Lady cry.
