Rolf’s Cartoon Club was shown on ITV at 4:30 on a Thursday afternoon, and it was classic viewing.
Rolf Harris, the ebullient Australian presenter, would ask “can you tell what it is yet” as well as making strange “ooh” and “aah” noises all the time, for no apparent reason. It was great children’s TV.
