Reboot Characters

Reboot was a Saturday morning cartoon in the mid-nineties, when the internet was still very new. It was based on internet features and was drawn in futuristic block-style 3D. The series used loads of words from computing to name the characters. The humanoid characters were “sprites” living in “Mainframe”. They faced a threat from the Web which sent monsters into their world. Hexadecimal, Megabyte, Matrix, Dot and Glitch were just some of the characters.

  1. Hey Linda Haywood! Thanks so much for posting the ‘Reboot’ cartoon! I have been thinking about that for years and couldn’t remember the name of it for the life of me! I am 24yrs old now, and my brother is 26, but we both used to watch that together when we were kids. Brings back a lot of memories. I like the whole concept of the cartoon and how it was based on computers and the internet before it became really popular. I am going to share this with my brother and see if he remembers! Thanks again! ;-)

  2. and i am sure the evil lady had different faces that looked like robinson cruso??
