Maltesers Advert

“They’re lighter than ordinary chocolate” the ballet dancer says as she floats onto the stage for another fantastic performance. What you don’t know is that her Russian trainer and pushy mum have worked her for an extra 6 hours because of that calorie loaded treat. I think I just liked her accent more than anything.

The ballerina are warming up to go on stage.
Backstage Hand: “Three minutes”
Prima Ballerina: “Chocolate, before the performance?
Voice: “No, Maltesers”
Two little ballerinas: “They’re lighter than ordinary chocolates”
Prima Ballerina: “Are you sure?”
Voice: “mmm Maltesers are made of millions of crisp, tiny bubbles, captured in delicious chocolate. So they don’t fill you up.”
Ballerina: “The theatres full”
Prima Ballerina: “But I am not”
Voice: “Maltesers, the lighter way to enjoy chocolate”

Maltesers are made by Mars and involve a complex two stage baking process. Check out the old adverts here.
