Light years ahead in terms of technology, virtual reality children’s television series, Knightmare, was actually really scary.
It was like a cross between a medieval re-enactment and a computer game. It would be really strange to take part in it as it literally was a walk through computer game -except some gammy actors would accost you occassionally. i remeber this, it was scary and there was a room where the player was guided through to the other end and he had to step on certain slabs or they would fall away and that was the end of you. and there was a room with a table an it would have a scroll on it and there was some peasant looking man sitting in the corner and if he saw you he would come after you
