Kes

Before Kes started hanging around on Craig David’s arm in Bo Selecta, he was actually a film star in his own right, in the self titled film of 1969 called “Kes”.

This film was great Northern hardship stuff, based on the book “A Kestrel for a Knave” and tracks the life of a little boy who befriends a kestrel, which he calls, imaginatively, Kes.

Kes does not have the best of lives, and ends up rather unceremoniously in the dustbin. Sorry if I’ve ruined the plotline for you, but honestly, what are you reading this for if you haven’t seen the film…

Watch some of the best bits here, the football match between “Manchester United” and “Tottenham Hotspur”.

80s Child

As my name suggests, I was born in the early 80s, the things I write about will be late 80s onwards. Pretty much my earliest coherent memories are of Italia 90, which gives you some clues! I'm English. I'll update this profile bit some more soon!
