Shaggy was also well known for one of the sexiest songs ever “Mr Bombastic” which was featured on a highly successful Levi’s advert.

So-called because of the sharp pointy toes of the shoe -similar to the tools used for prising winkles out of their shells. Winkle pickers were worn by “Teddy Boys”, Modernists and Mods. They had Cuban Heels and in the 60’s were best worn with laces down the side and extra-long trousers.

All I can remember about this cartoon is seeing Scrooge McDuck diving into a room full of money and then discussing with my brothers what we would do if we had that much money. As for Hughie, Louis and Dewy, they were just background to the amazing array of what Scrooge had.
