Crop Tops

Crop tops were a fashion accessory of the early nineties and went hand in hand with lime green shirts, jelly shoes and shag bands. There was something on the news about a girl getting a kidney infection because her crop top didn’t keep her warm enough. Dads made comments about needing woolly jumpers and Julia Robert ruled. Sales of belly bars went through the roof as you needed something to dress up the bare skin. Crop tops were an exclusive club to which rock hard abs needed only apply. Crop tops fans included Cindy Crawford, Alicia Silverstone and girls aged 8-11.
